The DSDN supports parents who have recently received a diagnosis for their child during pregnancy or at birth. They celebrate your child and provide an incredible network of support and resources to accurately inform new parents what life with a child with Down syndrome looks like. The DSDN gives medical providers the tools and resources needed to discuss Down syndrome in a way that is supportive and educational, and supply resources and information to parents who otherwise wouldn’t know where to find it.
This is an incredible organization that offers hope and support to new families to help them transition more easily and positively into life with Down syndrome; something that is greatly needed at the beginning of this amazing journey.
